Hi my name is Ben, or Benji as I am known to friends – that’s you. I have been blogging for a couple of years now, infrequently for sure. I tried doing this before but never bothered to keep up to date with the posts and whatnot. As of December 2010 I’ve made a promise to myself get better with updating, even if people will not end up reading it. As for the topics I should be posting about, that will vary; anything from sport to just general things happening in my life, to book reviews and poetry.
Anyway, now we have the introduction out of the way, a little bit about myself. I’m 17 years old with blonde hair, and blue eyes – yes, Hitler would have wanted to include me in the Master Race, I assume. I am in my second year of 6th form studying; English Literature, Philosophy & Ethics and Psychology. I have enjoyed 6th form because although the workload is huge in comparison to GCSE level, it is a whole new experience, and you are treated with more respect when you are in this stage of school. Recently I have sent off my application to different universities and I am awaiting offers.
My hobbies include; writing – poetry usually, although I hope one day to publish a full length novel – reading and reviewing. I also enjoy playing acoustic guitar and have done for several years now. I don’t claim to be good, but I play for my enjoyment and not the serious aspect of it like some people do.
